Description:

Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking Lumber Taggers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Loads/unloads materials
  • Stacks/moves lumber
  • Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun
  • Attaches product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand-held industrial stapler machine
  • Checks items for proper identification
  • Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
  • Keeps record of inventory and checks items for proper identification
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous production experience preferred
  • Lumber experience is a plus!
