The F. A. T. Technician performs factory authorized (FAT) or verification testing and related tasks for the completion of OSS Umbilicals & Products. The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion for quality. You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our product delivery to the client. Essential Skills and Functions to be possessed & demonstrated:Perform Fiber Optic Testing & Splicing (Outside Plant Certified)Perform Low Voltage (1000 V) Cable Testing & Medium Voltage (6000 V ) Cable Testing a. Conductor Resistance, Insulation Resistance, Crosstalk/ Attenuation, Impedance, Resistance, and High Potential Testing. Measure resistance, continuity, voltage using test equipment. Perform & Assist in Hydrostatic Pressure Testing of SDSS Umbilicals & DE Products (10,000-30,000 psi)Set up specialized equipment, perform leak checks by using appropriate equipment and procedures, and verify check completion.
