Vice President of Operations and Administrative Services The VP of Operations and Administrative Services is responsible for directing, managing and monitoring all activities related to the safe and efficient production of high quality products. This role works with staff to properly manage all resources to optimize the business goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with federal, state and company policies in regard to safety, environmental and other regulatory organizations. Develops and initiates strategies that achieve competitive advantages for the company in a sustainable manner always taking the longer view.Compensation:Base: Up to $225kIncentive package that includes a 40% annual bonusOther traditional benefitsFull relocation available if neededKey Responsibilities:Establish safety expectations and teach leaders how to drive a safety culture across the company.Establish the priority and assist managers in meeting or exceeding manufacturing goals (Safety, Quality, Throughput, Cost, and Capex).Coach leaders in the application of lean to achieve the manufacturing goals in a sustainable manner.Develop and implement strategies to provide a competitive advantage to the company.Integrate strategies with other groups to maximize the benefit to the customer, employees and company.Develop long term capital goals for the facilities to maximize ROI.Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality, timeliness and cost of the entire supply chain.Drive best practices while accepting and implementing those from other groups.Seek to optimize balance of make vs buy components to reduce manufacturing and raw material cost.Develop and mentor other leaders.Ensure plant compliance with all federal and state and company mandated regulations.Broaden personal knowledge in functional areas, and leadership, along with other key aspects of the business (HR, Accounting, Procurement, etc.).Customer Focus: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets firsthand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.Action Oriented: Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others.Functional/Technical Skills: Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
