YOUR ROLE

Are you known for your management skills? Are you passionate about customer support and driving results? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to oversee ongoing customer service, focusing on daily operations to meet customer needs.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Oversee ongoing customer service. Communicate daily with customers to discuss service needs and potential issues. Ensure profit objectives of contracts are met, provide financial analysis and decision-making for customers. Manage organic growth and develop additional business opportunities with existing customers.
2. Ensure safety, maintain quality, and establish cost control programs. Oversee operations management within company guidelines. Manage schedules and staff to meet customer needs.
3. Train managers and personnel strategically to achieve contract goals and satisfy customers. Maintain productivity and quality recognition programs.
4. Implement continuous improvement programs using Kaizen, LEAN, and EQS to sustain quality performance.
5. Manage cost control, including budgeting, P&L review, payroll, and cost analysis. Use Performance Management tools to monitor and control costs weekly.
6. Negotiate and enforce collective bargaining agreements where applicable.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, 3PL, or Transportation; Master's preferred. Minimum 10 years in operations and business management, leading multiple facilities and growing business.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and relevant software applications.
• Characteristics: Strong management skills in revenue, budgets, EBITA, and customer service. Experienced in project management and strategic planning.
