We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in commercial construction and renovations and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join our Construction & Renovation Division. This individual will support multiple facets of the project lifecycle-from estimating and scheduling to on-site coordination, reporting and documentation, and project closeout. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with quantity takeoffs and budget development

Source and solicit bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers

Support the creation and organization of bid proposals

Prepare subcontract agreements and issue scopes of work

Track subcontractor compliance (licenses, insurance, etc.)

Communicate expectations and schedules clearly to subcontractors

Submit and track product submittals and approvals

Assist with material sourcing and procurement

Coordinate deliveries and site logistics as needed

Conduct periodic site visits and compile daily reports

Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation

Request and compile closeout documents (warranties, manuals, etc.)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in construction estimating or project management, preferably in commercial renovations or retail/restaurant build-outs.

Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs.

Proficiency with Microsoft programs and estimating/construction software.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
