Regional Finance Service Manager (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas)

The Regional Finance Service Manager manages and leads the credit functions across specific geographic areas and multiple business segments to include developing and maintaining the credit policies and guidelines, establishing credit limits, and ensuring proper compliance. In conjunction with providing leadership to multiple Area Financial Service Managers spread geographically, this role is responsible for managing the entire credit portfolio for an assigned customer segment. This role will report to the Director, Global Credit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Area Financial Service Managers spread in various U.S. locations, providing guidance in policing and larger credit review(s). Analyzes financial strengths/weaknesses of prospective and existing customers determine eligibility for credit, financing, or related services.
• Develops, implements, and manages effective collection procedures in accordance with established credit policies.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication with a creditable information network.
• Manages collections process to ensure proper sending of follow-up inquiries, negotiating with past due accounts, and referral of accounts to collection agencies.
• Provides insight for the updating of the credit policy as to new concepts and procedures.
• Develop performance objectives for assigned Area Financial Services Manager(s) and their area of responsibility, communicate those objectives and monitor ongoing performance.
• Interview, train, develop and motivate employees to foster their professional development and growth through results-oriented focus, clear communication and direction, delegation and active career development and coaching.
• Continually evaluate, alter and improve the credit function for assigned area to respond to changing needs of the organization, new products, new business, individual initiatives and other activities.
• Recommend improvements to the Director, Global Credit.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

8+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

• Experience in Food Manufacturing and/or Agriculture highly preferred.
• Prior experience in collections and lending and/or the extension of credit.
• Good working knowledge of accounting and banking practices, relevant laws and legal processes, marketing strategy and general agricultural practices.
• Solid background in business administration and financial analysis.
• Prior experience leading multiple managers/supervisors is highly preferred.
• Must be willing to travel to assigned markets 50% of the time.
• This role will be based in Loveland - CO, Boise - ID, and/or remotely in a Central time-zone.
