School Crossing Guard

This is part-time auxiliary work directing vehicle traffic at school crossing zones to facilitate a safe environment for pedestrians crossing the street. Other occasional duties may include assisting with clerical work, vehicle inspections, and traffic control during special events.

Jurisdiction: City of Mobile

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.65

Minimum Qualification Requirements: Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

Special Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
