Join our team as a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our restaurant. Your responsibilities will ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests, while also supporting our kitchen staff.

Essential Functions:

• Provide clean and sanitized utensils, plate ware, glassware, and kitchen equipment for guests and employees.
• Ensure dishes are sanitized and available for use as needed throughout your shift.
• Set up and properly maintain the dish machine at the beginning of the day and close it down according to procedures at the end of your shift.
• Efficiently wash and sanitize plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following established sanitation and cleaning protocols.
• Set up line bags in employee restrooms, prep/cooking lines, expeditor area, and dish room.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping floors, and emptying trash regularly.
• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout your shift.
• Assist in ensuring guests are seated at clean and properly set tables promptly.
• Clean tables and chairs after guests leave to prepare for the next diners.
• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, the perimeter of the building, and the parking lot.
• Check the bus stand for cleanliness from the previous shift and notify the manager of any issues.
• Remove trash and regularly spot sweep the restaurant and bar floor.
• Keep your supervisor informed of any unusual matters or problems and suggest solutions as needed.
• Complete all duties effectively and in a timely manner, following established company policies.
• Foster a positive working relationship with all company employees and purveyors to create a cooperative and efficient working environment.
• Represent the company positively at all times to enhance public recognition and support for our mission.

Physical requirements include lifting and carrying weights of up to 70 lbs, bending, and stooping frequently. The job often involves working in a hot and damp environment, with potential hazards like cuts from glass, burns, and slips.
