Description:

Fit is assisting a client in their search for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support their operations, administrative, and sales teams. This is more than a clerical role — it is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments and grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented company. Pay is in the $40K - $45K range with benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operations Manager with inventory tracking and management
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate material reorders
  • Place orders with vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records
  • Assist the Office Manager with scheduling and calendar coordination
  • Support HR functions including onboarding paperwork and employee documentation
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Assist the sales team in preparing and sending proposals
  • Gather pricing, documentation, and necessary job details
  • Ensure proposals are accurate and delivered in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Prior administrative experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in construction or building materials is a plus
