Fit is seeking a highly capable, hands-on operations manager who thrives at the intersection of field execution and internal operations. This individual will take full ownership of inventory and equipment management, support scheduling and crew coordination, and build the systems needed to keep our day-to-day operations running efficiently. Pay is in the $55K - $70K range, DOE plus benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory and equipment management across all job sites and company yard, ensuring accurate tracking, availability, and efficient utilization
• Maintain equipment logs, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and conduct regular audits to ensure operational readiness
• Develop procurement processes and reorder systems to prevent material shortages and reduce waste
• Support field operations by coordinating materials and equipment with scheduling needs and serving as a key contact for crew logistics
• Conduct site visits to assess needs, resolve issues, and communicate updates to leadership
• Establish and improve systems, processes, and standard operating procedures for inventory and field logistics
• Collaborate cross-functionally and provide regular reporting on inventory, equipment status, and operational performance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations, field coordination, or logistics experience in construction or a related trade environment
• Demonstrated experience managing equipment fleets, material inventory, or field logistics for multiple concurrent crews or projects
• Comfortable in the field — able to conduct site visits, interact with crew leads, and assess conditions hands-on
• Proficient with basic technology tools — spreadsheets, inventory software, or construction management platforms
