Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative serves as a key point of contact for customers, helping drive sales growth through exceptional customer service, technical support, and proactive relationship building. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Generate quotes and follow up on opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide technical assistance and product information to customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Conduct outbound sales calls to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the sales process.
• Continuously expand knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with operations, purchasing, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1-2 years of sales, customer service, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency for order processing and customer communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competitive, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Metals, manufacturing, or industrial sales experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 annually (DOE)
• Quarterly Profitability Bonus
• Temp-to-Perm opportunity
