Dishwasher Job Description

A Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a restaurant, cafeteria, hotel, or food service establishment by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. They help ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and complies with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in designated areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen duties when required.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications
