Warehouse Receiving & Shipping AssociateWe are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Receiving & Shipping Associate for a small warehouse environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, works well as part of a team, and understands that warehouse upkeep and cleanliness are a major part of the job.Responsibilities:Unload incoming trucks and shipmentsReceive and verify incoming products against packing slips and purchase ordersInspect products for damage, expiration dates, and accuracyPut away inventory into designated warehouse locationsAssist with warehouse organization and inventory controlHelp transition from paper processes to an electronic barcode/RF scanner systemAssist the shipping department during busy periodsPerform general warehouse duties as assignedWarehouse Cleaning & Maintenance Duties (Required): When receiving is slow, employees will be expected to assist with maintaining the warehouse and keeping work areas clean and organized. Duties include:Operating an automated warehouse sweeper to remove dust and debrisBreaking down and disposing of cardboardWiping down shelves, workstations, and warehouse areasTaking out trash and maintaining clean workspacesGeneral housekeeping and warehouse cleanup dutiesRequirements:Previous warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience preferredAbility to lift and move products throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and accuracyComfortable performing both warehouse labor and cleaning dutiesTeam player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where neededComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentExperience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus, but not requiredThis position is best suited for someone who understands that keeping a warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently is just as important as shipping and receiving responsibilities.
